FEW WORDS FROM KILLIAN ABOUT HIS SETUP:
For this new build, I decided to switch things up a bit from my usual setup - specifically by going with the Focus frame in a 21".
After years of riding 20.8" frames with short chainstays - which helped with spins and developed the technical side of my riding - I wanted a frame with more knee room and better stability for airs and transfers, while still keeping that technical feel for front-wheel tricks and maneuverability for street riding.
So, I jumped on the new BSD Focus frame; it strikes the perfect balance between classic and modern!
The finished build looks incredible, and after testing it out, I felt instantly comfortable with the bike's handling.
For me, it’s the perfect "Back to the Future" frame: more stable chainstays combined with a modern look and that high standover height.
The rear triangle looks robust too that’s a feature I appreciate in a frame, as I’m really into crank grinds.
I switched to a 27-tooth guard sprocket; it offers way more power than a 25/9 setup while remaining compact enough for crankslides - I love it!
I also went with 165mm cranks, which provide a bit more clearance for crankarm grinds and the like, while maintaining responsiveness close to that of 160mm cranks.
This bike is the ultimate all-terrain beast for all the wild shredders out there! haha!
