Antonio Smallwood Bike Check

Antonio Smallwood's progressive style of street riding needs a setup that can do it all which is why he chooses to ride the BSD Grime frame paired with short offset Jonesin' forks and skinnier 2.3" Donnastreet tires. Toni just built up a fresh flat raw Grime frame with some new parts, read on to see what he's running...

A FEW WORDS FROM ANTONIO ABOUT HIS SETUP:

"So I'm running the BSD Grime frame in a 21". I often jump back and forth between the Jonesin' and the Grime frame but I feel like the Grime is slightly better suited to my general style of street riding. Whatever your style is or whatever you want to ride it does the job where as the Jonesin' is slightly more catered towards technical street. Both have their benefits but this time I'm back on the Grime and stoked about it!

I choose to ride the Westcoaster freecoaster hub. Most riders choose the Revolution these days but I always prefer the feeling of a traditional freecoaster, it really just gives me more confidence when doing tail whips and landing backwards. Also the bike being completely silent in the streets is bonus steeze.

With this bike I'm running the 2.3" wide tyres front and back, I like the feeling of skinnier tyres when you grind, it makes the resistance low so it makes spinning and whipping out of grinds easier. Also I'm trying out a 28t sprocket for the first time so i'll see if that feels good for my riding. Hopefully get some fast paced riding in the streets.

All in all I'm super stoked on my fresh bike and can't thank BSD enough for the opportunity to get a new bike whenever I need one. I literally wouldn't be able ride BMX and get to do what I love without the support of you guys. Forever grateful and BSD FOREVER!..."
